January 8 is National JoyGerm Day, which is apparently intended to let the contagion of joy spread throughout the world. So give us your best grin, and see how far the happy can spread. Just a note: You will need to actually go out in public for best results.
January 9 is Play God Day. I’m not really sure what to say about this one. It was surely intended to be a humorous thing, but there are people who will not be amused, I am certain.
January 10 is Peculiar People Day, because those people who leave you scratching your head in confusion deserve to be celebrated. Hooray for being unique!
January 11 is National Step in a Puddle and Splash Your Friend Day, which will be rather difficult for those of us in Northern climates where mud turns to ice this time of year, but perhaps we can make a special puddle and step in it before it freezes solid…hopefully well before it freezes solid.
January 12 is Feast of Fabulous Wild Men Day. Seriously? Are we supposed to be eating them, or what? And where exactly do you find wild men these days? The zoo?
January 13 is Make Your Dream Come True Day and Blame Someone Else Day, although hopefully not in the same sentence, but that would be just like our society these days, wouldn’t it?
January 14 is National Dress Up Your Pet Day. Oh, the fun we can have with this, especially if we could pair it with the Wild Men Day. Can you just imagine the possibilities?
